Dear Julie,

I just made it again. Love this soup!! Question: Would you just verify how long YOU cook this soup please. I just realized there are two places you mention the time and I'm wondering if I am expected to keep cooking after I've done the 25 minutes and then do the 1/2 hour ... even if I don't blend it or thicken it. I just leave everything as is ... diced. I know this is very likely the dumbest question you've had to date ... but ...

I just realized I added two jalepenos! Oh dear! Fingers crossed. I'm pretty careful to remove every speck of membrane and seeds.

Ate the soup last night. It was absolutely fabulous! I added cilantro and sliced green onion and lite sour cream to the end product and ... well ... you just can't improve on your recipe.

Thanks.
