Have you ever tried adding fennel seeds to your gravy (or chili) to give it an extra meaty flavor?</description>

When we make a pot full of spaghetti "gravy" (never call it sauce!), we first test it for the correct balance of spices by pouring it over a piece of Italian bread.  This is the first way it is eaten (before the pasta) &#38; to me it tastes the best like this.</description>
