		<description>I saw the thumbnail of the Nanaimo bars at the bottom of your shortbread recipe and had to come here.  Oh, how I had forgotten about Nanaimo bars. Once or twice over the last year I thought I should make them,  but then other things always got in the way.

When I lived in Canada, I resigned to buying them at bakeries.  One bar every once in awhile won&#039;t make you fat, but an entire plate of homemade ones will!
