Hi Everyone -

New to your site, Julie. Love your stories and recipes.

I've just learned canning and am wondering if your tomato sauce can be canned? or is it better to just freeze?

Would love any suggestions as we have a bumper crop of tomatoes this year.

Thanks!

I'm glad to see someone else doesn't peel or seed their tomatoes first.

Oh, boy, does that look good. We tried a similar risotto dish at a Northern Italian restaurant near Boston a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't have spinach.

There's nothing like good risotto. One of these days, I'm going to try to cook a risotto dish from scratch--perhaps this fall when I have time.

By the way, I made tomato sauce in a similar fashion, though I used a hand-held puree presser instead (got a good workout in!). Wow, did the sauce ever come out nice...
