		<description>Technically, what we see in grocery stores in north America are sweet potatoes, although they are VERY often labelled as yams.. typically the darker orange varieties are labelled yams and the paler, fleshier-coloured ones are called sweet potatoes. True yams are rarely seen in Canada, except perhaps at African or Carribean specialty stores.</description>
